Party Fowl to operate two club-level locations in Nissan Stadium
Titans ink deal with local hot chicken joint
It arrived at First Tennessee Park this spring, in the form of concessions and a mascot. Later, it came to Ascend Amphitheater. Now, hot chicken has found a home at Nissan Stadium.
Party Fowl, the Eighth Avenue-based hot chicken restaurant, has inked a deal with the Tennessee Titans to become the NFL franchise's "preferred hot chicken." Under the deal (terms of which were not disclosed), Party Fowl will operate two club-level locations in Nissan Stadium starting this Sunday for the Titans' first pre-season game at home.
The move to add Nashville's (newly) christened signature dish to the concession line-up comes as Titans officials attempt to regain fan support following stadium mismanagement. Most recently, fans complained about excessively long lines and empty concessions during the U.S. Men's National Team soccer match in July.
“We heard from our Club Members that they wanted some local flavor added to the variety of selections available on game days," said Bob Flynn, vice president of facilities and game day operations for the Titans, in a news release. "Party Fowl is a local company and their hot chicken has become a signature Nashville flavor. We are looking forward to the relationship and providing another quality food option for our club.”
